Copies of Walsingham's diplomatic papers as English ambassador in Paris, to and from Queen Elizabeth (1533-1603); William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley (1520-98); Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester (1532?-1588); Sir Thomas Smith (1513-77), etc. Papers relate particularly to the French marriage. Published by Sir Dudley Digges (1583-1639) in "The compleat ambassador," 1655. This manuscript is incomplete at beginning and end, starting with Digges p. 53 (1st 32 f. lacking) and ending with Digges p. 281. Slight variations from Digges, manuscript perhaps an inferior text. Followed by: "The declaration of the Queenes majestie of England concerning the differences betweene the Catholicke Kinge and her. 1586."Incomplete at end. Leaves separately numbered f. 1-10.
